The vaccination certificate will be examined by the Saudi authorities at the port of entry. Check with the campaign operator to learn about the current vaccination requirements.
The ID and hand bracelet are given to all pilgrims by your Hajj and Travel Agency, and keep them with you at all times.
Make sure to obtain a Hajj permit to perform the Hajj (Umrah visa for non-residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), the Saudi government imposes strict penalties on people who perform Hajj without a permit. The dates on Saudi visas are on the Hijri date, make sure the dates are converted correctly and write your end date.
Do not evaluate more than the duration of the Hajj or Umrah visa. The penalties for exceeding the duration of the Hajj or Umrah residency include a fine of 50 thousand Saudi riyals, a six-month prison sentence, and then deportation from the country.
The Hajj and Umrah visa is valid only in the cities of Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah. You can not use these visas to work or to stay. Any unauthorized travel outside these cities leads to violation of local laws and fines as mentioned above.
The Saudi government may set conditions for departure, which may limit the possibility of travel. Passengers must comply with these travel instructions.
In your need to bring medicines (treatments) with you, you must bring a doctor’s prescription with you in English and make sure that these medicines are not prohibited in Saudi Arabia.
Pilgrims are women and children
Women under the age of 45: They must be accompanied by “Muharram” (adult male relatives such as husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew or nephew) to perform the Hajj or Umrah.
Women over the age of 45: You can travel without a mahram in an organized group, provided you provide a notarized non-objection letter from the husband, son, or brother that allows travel for Hajj or Umrah with the group. This letter must be certified by a local notary in your area.
Children under the legal age (under 18 years): They are only given Hajj visas if they are accompanied by their family. If the child is traveling with one of the parents, they must obtain a no-objection letter from the other parent / legal guardian. This letter must be believed by the notary.
In addition to the vaccines required, also recommended the following vaccines: hepatitis (A and B) polio.
Keep your hands with you sterile, cold medicines, diarrhea, and skin irritation in addition to any medicines or treatments you may need.
Temperatures in Makkah range between 18 and 44 degrees Celsius, be sure to drink water to avoid dehydration and take enough rest, and use sun protection.
If you have a health condition, make sure that you have a medical report with you translated into English.
Please make sure to add your prescriptions to your travel documents.
The public services provided may be crowded, so travelers should expect long waiting times for basic services during the Hajj, especially in Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat.
Baggage allowance and transportation
Consult your campaign operator for baggage information and details such as size and weight before you start packing your luggage. Consul
